Baobab is a swimwear brand from Colombia founded by Isabella Espinoza in Bogota, in 2015. It’s a circular business model where they turn waste into iconic pieces while restoring ecosystems.
They take plastic and fishing nets out of the ocean to make their fashion pieces. The fabric is made from sustainable techno fabric made of recycled polyester.
The printing process of the fabrics generates zero water and chemical waste. They love giving color to their materials, but they also love the colors of our earth so natural resources always come first.
BAOBAB is an inclusive brand that you’ll feel great in no matter your size, your skin color or your gender. “We want everyone to have fun with our product without damaging our planet” says Isabella Espinoza.
“FOR EVERY SWIMSUIT THEY SELL THEY PLANT A TREE ON YOUR BEHALF”
