MY FAVOURITE NEW SPA – Where Hollywood Royalty Go to Get Pampered.
The SLS Hotel is one of the most desirable destinations for luxury and comfort in Beverly Hills. It’s where Vince and his pals from the TV series Entourage would sip cocktails amongst a young and hip Hollywood crowd and where wannabe actresses cosy up to movie creative types .
As I pulled into the valet of the SLS the other day, I noticed a group of eager paparazzi waiting to snap away at the latest in demand celebrity that was probably inside. But I was there for an entirely different reason, to relax and be pampered at the newly re-launched Ciel Spa by Pearl Wellness. As I entered the 5,000 square foot oasis, I instantly felt a sense of serenity amongst the warm white tones, intriguing designs and exclusive furnishings by Philippe Starck. I felt as though I just entered through the pearly gates of heaven. I was given a warm and inviting welcome by CEO Isabella Koretz. In a very distinctive but soothing French accent, she notified me of the new partnership the Ceil Spa had entered with Biologique Recherché led by the Pearl Wellness Center. This partnership signifies an incredible advancement in the quality of treatments the spa has to offer. Biologique Recherché promises intentionally pure, concentrated and raw ingredients. The products themselves are known for their high concentration of active ingredients and being perfume free; all formulated in Paris. The Pearl Wellness Center has been partnered with the SLS Hotel since it’s opening and provides a one of a kind environment for patients post surgery, focusing on their health and wellness. Now with their involvement in the Ciel Spa they have truly created a unique experience for all. This information made me all the more excited for my face and body treatment. As I was ushered into the ladies changing room I brushed past Kris Jenner, who was absolutely beaming with a radiant complexion. That’s when I knew this was the VIP spa destination in Beverly Hills.
I also figured out whom the paps were waiting to pounce on out front. I then met with my therapist Caterina. She began by giving me an individualized skin consultation using different probes from the Biologique Recherché machine, which determines what my skin condition is, what the best treatments and products are for my skin along with full instructions on how to use the skincare. I was very impressed by this. I’ve had my skin scanned before but I’ve never had my own customized skin prescription. My treatments left me feeling, refreshed, renewed and invigorated. This is definitely a girls pamper destination that will leave you feeling and looking your very best before heading to the uber chic bar for a cocktail or two!
