The latest 2022 trend that has caught my eye is the resurgence of the color pink.
Since its release on the Spring/Summer catwalks, pink has since been spotted on a list of celebrities on and off the Red Carpet.
Shades of pink have filtered through to fashion stores, ready for the rest of us to give it a go! If you are going to dominate the colour-blocked look – The more vibrant, the better! Why not team a hot pink blazer with baby pink wide-leg pants. For a dramatic finish, add a statement shoe or earrings in a complementary tone.
FASHION EXAMPLES
For someone like me who does not wear a lot of colour day-to-day and may be too shy to attempt to pull off the pink look head-to-toe without looking like a Barbie doll, I’ve turned to beauty to embrace my inner Elle Woods.
Luckily, makeup brands have jumped on the pink bandwagon so there is no shortage of the colour at your local beauty counters.

- The prettiest pastel eye shimmers
- A pop of neon pink eyeliner
- A subtle rosy pink lip
All in all, we would say that it’s a welcoming sight of colour.
