I recently had the chance to escape the modern world and embrace total tranquility at AIRE, Ancient Baths London. This hidden gem, nestled underneath Coven Garden in the former home of author J.M. As I entered, I couldn’t help but admire the historic charm, with the first edition of Peter Pan proudly displayed at reception. The spa boasts seven brick rooms, each housing baths of varying temperatures. From the toasty Caldarium to the refreshing Frigidarium, and the invigorating jet bath Balneum to the peppermint-scented Vaporium or the Flotarium, every corner of AIRE invites you to unwind. My personal favorite was the Flotarium where I floated effortlessly in water as salty as the Dead Sea.
AIRE has eight locations worldwide, each offering luxurious rituals, thermal baths and relaxing massages. The newly launched Orange Garden Experience was a highlight of my visit. This indulgent treatment is designed to nourish your skin, soothe the senses and elevate natural beauty.
I enjoyed a 35-minute body massage with AIRE’s Signature Orange Garden massage oil, scientifically proven to improve your relaxation.
The experience continued with a 25-minute face massage, including a gentle cleansing, relaxing Gua Sha massage with jojoba oil, and a cooling hydrogel face mask. The treatment concluded with a soothing scalp massage and a delicate floral mist leaving me feeling blissful and rejuvenated.
To top off the experience, I enjoyed a glass of cava juice, adding a sophisticated touch to the entire journey. AIRE truly focuses on delicately relaxing both body and mind through select ingredients, techniques and tools, making my skin glow and my spirit soar.
