Isabel Aagaard is a designer by trade and eco-conscious by nature. Frustrated by all the single-use products out there, she decided to design innovative solutions to wasteful habits that make a lasting positive impact. LastObject was founded in 2018 with the first product being LastSwab, and earlier this year, LastTissue was bought to life, followed by LastROUND. Isabel also just gave birth to her first child, a healthy perfect boy. As an eco-fighter and power-mum that always leads by example, she truly stands by her products and hopes to inspire others to adapt to living sustainably. As someone who has used the products, I can report that I was pleasantly surprised at how easy they are to use and how good it feels to be using these eco-friendly swaps!
LASTSWAB Single use cottons swabs are one of the biggest plastic pollutants in the world. Produced at an astronomical rate of 1.5 billion per day, most wind up dumped in the ocean. LastSwab is the world’s first reusable cotton swab. It’s made with soft TPE ends and a durable nylon core, LastSwab comes in two versions: the Basic swab removes wax and dirt from ears with bumpy ridged ends, and the Beauty swab featuring one soft rounded tip and one sharp end is for makeup application and corrections. A single LastSwab is designed to withstand up to 1000 uses and can be washed with soap and warm water.
LASTTISSUE is our modern take on the handkerchief. Every LastTissue tissue replaces a single-use tissue and saves 2 litres of water. With one LastTissue pack, you will save the planet from more than 3,100 single-use tissues as well as their plastic packaging. LastTissue features six 100% GOT certified organic cotton tissues that are gentle and soft to the touch- no nose irritation. The case itself is a recyclable silicone that is also dishwasher safe. LastTissue features a hygienic barrier for separating clean tissues from used ones. Each tissue can be washed in the washing machine up to 460 times.
LASTROUND is the everyday cotton round reimagined. The typical drugstore cotton round is manufactured with unknown chemicals, pesticides, and fertilizers.
